To kick off the Big Read of this classic American novel at the Cheltenham Festival this year, there will be 2 reading group events in libraries in Gloucestershire, chaired by local author Jane Bailey.

Harrogate Crime Festival’s Big Read of The Big Sleep
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of Raymond Chandler’s The Big Sleep, Harrogate Festival and Theakstons teamed up to buy copies of The Big Sleep from Penguin and distribute them to libraries and book groups all over the city as part of a Big Read.
